Background
I love learning and sharing information on communication, mental health and wellness, healthy relationships, and conflict resolution. There is nothing quite like spending the day with a group of people, getting uncomfortable, talking about conflict, and fostering curiosity and bravery to try new approaches in our relationships.
I have been a teacher and trainer for nearly 20 years in different capacities. I taught piano for over 10 years and loved working one-on-one with students. I enjoyed working with different learnings styles, being present in the discomforts of facing challenges, acknowledging the struggles and frustrations, being a support through the difficult moments and sharing in their success as they overcame obstacles and accomplished new skills. In 2010-11, I had the privilege of working with an international organization teaching children human rights education through play; engaging children and team leaders in reflective conversations about cooperation, inclusion, respect, diversity, fairness and responsibility. For over 10 years, I was a program coordinator for a restorative justice program where I trained and led workshops on mediation, communication, and conflict resolution. I have also delivered workshops to youth program staff, daycare staff, parent teacher committees, high school students, housing and tenant boards, non-profits, Restorative Justice programs, and the National Restorative Justice Symposium.

Scope
Clients + Considerations
Training is great for professional development and empowering teams, but it should not be a substitute for intervention where there are root causes that should be addressed.
At this time, training contracts are limited to organizations that work with children, youth, families, or are indirectly impacted by family conflict. This can include daycares, schools, youth and family serving organizations.
